Beacon-Ministries is a few members of the Body of Christ which seek to assist in the godly edifying of your soul through sound doctrine. Today we find no shortage of Bible teaching, but sound Bible doctrine which "rightly divides the word of truth" in accordance with the "revelation of the mystery of Christ" all while teaching the complete and total victory of Jesus Christ is not that common. Our earnest desire is to see the "eyes of your understanding" opened to a greater knowledge of what Jesus Christ accomplished for all His creation! We pray that the information found here will allow the edification process to be accomplished in your life. We do not seek to be affiliated with any religion, movement, or denomination. All we seek is to allow the Scriptures to be our authority, and to follow wherever they may lead us.
Do Men Really Burn in Hell, Forever?
No, they do not! This belief that Christianity has is not found in scripture. It has never been in the heart of God to do such a thing. However, there is a place called ‘hell’.
First of all we need to understand the meaning of the word, hell. There are two Greek words translated “hell”. One meaning describes a place called “Gehenna.” This was a garbage pit outside of ancient Jerusalem and it no longer exists so making it “eternal fire” or “eternal damnation” is incorrect. The other meaning is “the grave”. The grave, or death, is where all men end up because of Adam’s disobedience. This condition is not permanent and there is a resurrection for ALL men and ALL men will be redeemed, Romans 5:18.
Third, God is love. Love honors and cherishes life, 1 John 4:7 and 8. God loves the world, His creation, John 3:16.
Finally, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die and shed his blood for the redemption of ALL, Romans 5:18.
The above picture is Gehenna today.
This is the place the King James Version and many other Bibles mistakenly translate as hell. as you can see it is a very beautiful place, and nothing like the mythological hell theologians fabricated to control their members, through fear! You can actually visit Gehenna on any tour of Israel.
Questions one must consider if ascribing to the Traditional Orthodox Damnation Doctrine:
If Jesus preached eternal torment to the Samaritans in Jn. , would they have concluded that Jesus is the savior of the whole world?
How come Moses or none of the O.T. prophets ever mentioned such a horrible consequence to disobedience?
Does eternity prove that Satan did a better job at corrupting creation than Christ did in redeeming it?
Does eternity show that God devised His own everlasting defeat when He planned His creation?
Does eternity demonstrate that Christ’s atonement for all mankind (in many cases) is an everlasting failure?
Does eternity show that Loving Kindness, Himself, has created billions of people whom He foreknew would never hear Christ proclaimed during their earthly lives and therefore would suffer forever? Wouldn’t that make God infinitely evil? Punishment must fit the crime if He judges justly.
Will eternity reveal that love is neither committed nor unfailing nor is it by any means unconditional?
Will eternity show that Holy Love has foreseen and therefore fore-planned for everlasting disaster for much of His own creation?
Does eternity demonstrate that Christ is not the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world? Or does it reveal Him as the Lamb of God who tried to take away the world’s sin and failed?
Nearly all pastors, according to sixth generation funeral director, Caleb Wilde, become universalists at funeral services. He writes,
“I have worked about 3,000 funerals in my 10 years as a funeral director and I have never heard a pastor state conclusively that the person they are memorializing is going to hell, although I’ve heard thousands of messages that state CONCLUSIVELY that the deceased is in heaven!”
So when are they lying? On Sunday morning when they damn to Hell all those who have not been born again and leading a godly life (which is 99 percent of mankind)? Or when they assure those at their funeral services (for which they usually get paid) the deceased are in heaven? Or are they just lying all the time?
What About Hell?
The following is a very good video presentation by Brother Jason Lucas concerning what the scriptures teach concerning "hell." I recommend that you take the time to watch it. You will be enriched by the truth.

Phillipians 3:20-21But we are a commonwealth of heaven, and we wait for the DELIVERER who
comes from heaven, ADONAI Jesus MESSIAH, who will
transform our body of humiliation, for it to be conformed to His body of glory,
according to the working of Him to be able even to subject all things
