Can you please explain Genesis 6. Is Moses telling us about the line of Seth and Cain mixing, or fallen angels mixing with mankind? How did Noah find grace in the eyes of the Lord?

This question comes up because many will look at Matthew 22:30 and assume that angels cannot have sexual relations, so therefore it has to be a reference to Seth and Cains lines mixing. But if we carefully read this verse we will see some very important words:

Matthew 22:30  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Matthew is clearly talking about the unfallen angelic realm. The key to the whole passage is the phrase underlined above. It is therefore, recording information that is true of an angel that has not fallen, nor left heaven.

Jude 1:6-7 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. [7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

We see that there are angels who left heaven and went after  strange (different) flesh (mankind). This was done by fornication. Genesis 6:1-2 talks of a sexual union between fallen angels and women. These angelic beings do not fit what Matthew 22:30 stated  because they had departed from heaven!

The second  part of the question is closely related to this information. In Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. [9] These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noahs lineage was the only lineage on earth which had not corrupted itself with the seed of fallen angels. Noah and his

descendents were the only people on earth who were not corrupted. This is related to Genesis 6:12: for all flesh had corrupted

his way upon the earth. Satans obvious plan was to corrupt the seed of the woman from the prophecy of Genesis 3:15. He

came very close to doing just that as only Noah was perfect in his generations.
