Pastor Gregg Davis accepted the call to serve as our Senior Pastor in September 2006. Before coming to Frankfort First, Pastor Davis had served in full-time ministry in 4 churches in Michigan and Ohio for a total of 13 years. He received his Bachelor of Theology degree in 1993 and his Master of Church Management degree in 2004, both from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL. Pastor Davis was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1996 by the Eastern Michigan District Assembly. He was married to Rachelle (Our Children's Minister) in 1992 and they have 3 children.
Rachelle was born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois. She attended Olivet Nazarene University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Rachelle worked on her Master's program through Illinois State University, then taught high school and special needs children in the public school system. She met and married Gregg while attending Olivet Nazarene University and has been in ministry ever since! Rachelle and Gregg have 3 beautiful children, Curtis, Kelsie and Colin.
As a pastor's wife for 15 years, she has found her place with the children of the church. As they have moved to each of their pastorates, it has been her privilege to direct the children's ministries. Helping the next generation find Jesus is the passion of Rachelle's heart.
Rachelle's hobbies include reading, traveling and being with her 3 children.
Joshua's goal is to lead others into worship using his talents as a singer and songwriter. His writing challenges listeners to examine their lives, their walk with Jesus and their commitment to God. His heart for Christ and the desire to see others truly worship are the driving factors that keep him writing songs of worship to our God.
