THE WONDER OF GOD

I marvel at the wonder of you my God

How awesome and powerful you are in your place

You surround me with your love

Your fragrance fills my nostrils

O I want you more and more

Your creation, O what a sight to behold

The stars, the wind, the mountains,

The birds, the fish, the sky

Lord I am breathless

I must press to take you in

I see the snake, the African Green Mamba

With its venom now processed

Doctors locate the nerves that send pain to the spine and the brain

Awesome! Powerful! Wow!

Lord, how did you think of such things?

The baby in the womb; now this is precious

Reverently, wonderfully made

Formed in that lower part of the earth in secret

The unseen eyes of the unseen God behold

God has a purpose, a plan, a goal in that little one

The volcano, its rich fire creeps slowly

Men flee in fear and dread for their lives

The fire flows at the bottom of the sea

The water boils, it cannot quench the fury of the lava

God beholds it with a smile; it is His handiwork

I marvel at the wonder of you my God

How awesome and powerful you are in your place

You surround me with your love

Your fragrance fills my nostrils

O I want you more and more
