-Can you picture yourself doing that on behalf of God? What do you picture?

-Are there people, groups of people, or a person whom God might ask you to be a vision of his redemption to?

-What would it look like to be a vision of redemption? What would it mean to actually be redemption to someone?

Scripture: 1 John 3:16

Discussion Questions:

-What do you think the verse means when it says “This is how we know what love is”?

-How is redemption the same as the love of Christ on the cross?

-If a picture of “love” is Christ’s redemption of us, how then ought we to love others?

-How do we redeem others?

-What does it mean to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters?

Prayer: Redeemer, Thank you for offering us your true love by paying our debt on the cross. Thank you for your continued love and redemption for us. Redeemer, we are grateful that you have welcomed us to your table by laying down your life for us. May we welcome others to your table by offering them your redemption and laying down our lives out of love as well.  Amen .
