Who: Kids who have completed 2nd grade - kids who have completed 12th grade
When/Where: Every Summer in Summerton, SC at Camp Bob Cooper located on beautiful Lake Marion.
What is PowerTime Camp: PowerTime is the official camping ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance for all of our churches
in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Kids will enjoy 5 days of fun, learning, and growing closer to God.
Some of the activities include boating, tubing, swimming, games, crafts, archery, paintball target shooting, nature walks, wall-
climbing, challenging ropes courses, paintball games, and skeet shooting. They also spend time worshiping God, hearing about
what Jesus has done for them, and learning from their featured speaker as well as Alliance missionaries.
Our middle and high school speaker this year will be Richard Griffith, professor of youth ministries at Toccoa Falls College. Richard is
also a youth pastor, and he has a tremendous heart for teens and the issues they face. Rich was also our speaker last year, and the
Lord used him greatly to impact the lives of many of our campers – so much so that we have invited him back for a return
engagement! Rich will be speaking on the believer’s new identity in Christ, and he will be focusing on Romans 8
Rev. Brian Schmidt returns once again as our children’s speaker, for “Racing with Jesus.” Brian will be presenting the basics of the
gospel and the Christian life, focusing on Hebrews 12:1b, where he will challenge the kids to “run the race set before them.”
