So You want to be a christian: god's spirit

Text: John 14-16

Children's Pastor: Jenn Ballenger

We have all faced those times in our spiritual journey when we feel stranded. We wonder if God is really there. Many times, the problem is that we are not taking the time to seek Him and be filled with His Spirit - which is our only hope of successfully living out this life He has called us to. This Sunday we focus on God's Spirit and how we regularly need to "re-fuel" our hearts, minds and souls. Don't miss it! See you Sunday!

SO YOU WANT TO BE A CHRISTIAN: SURRENDER

Text: Ruth 1:11-18

Lead Pastor: Wes Humble

We go back to our "So You Want to Be a Christian" series this week and take a look at what it means to surrender. It is very difficult to give up control. We all want it . . . we all feel best when we feel like we have it. It's hard to trust someone else with control over our lives. But we all want the results that come when we can hand it over to someone who really knows what they're doing . . . someone who knows more than we do. This week we look to the One who knows it all and, who loves us and only wants the very best for us. When we know that someone like that has control, we can have a peace that this world will never understand. Join us as we surrender to the God who loves us beyond anything we can imagine. See you Sunday!
