Discipleship

Discipleship is the process of being transformed into Christ-likeness. Sunday school is a vital part of how we mature in our faith as believers. Below is a summary of our Sunday School opportunities.  Sunday School begins at 9am.

Nursery and Pre-School Department

We provide a nursery for infants and toddlers up to age two and a Pre-school  class for children ages 2-4.

Elementary Department:
Our elementary department uses the FaithWeavers curriculum from Group.  This material ties into the Wednesday night Kids Club, Kids Own Worship material.  Both materials are engaging, fun, and life shaping for our children.

Pre-K-Kindergarten is taught by Deanna and  is located in the yellow room.

1-2 grade is taught by Sue and is located in the blue room

3-5 grade is located in the yellow room.

Mid High and Senior High Department:
Our Mid High and Senior High also use the FaithWeaver material from Group.  It engages them at a level where they can be challenged  and and mature in their faith.

Senior High and Mid High are currently combined and areled by KrisAnn and is  located in the Epicenter Youth Room.

Adult Department
:

Young Adults Class: is a discussion based Sunday School class designed to engage and meet the needs of 20-30 year old people. It is led by Kris Anne and is located in the first room on the left in our Sunday School space.

Young and the Rest of Us: Is a class of middle adults led by Bob and Larry.  Class uses discussion and interactive bible study from Life Bible Study.

Bill and Gene lead a class of older adults in the fellowship hall. They study one book of the bible at a time through discussion.  This is one of our longest running classes at FBC.

Thalacker class meets in the Conference Room.  This is a class that rotates curriculum based on topics.  They use media and conversation to discuss Christ-likeness on a variety of topics.

Jim leads our oldest members in the Agape room.  They use material from David C. Cook and are the class that is a model of true discipleship and prayer for us.

There are also occasional seasonal SMALL GROUPS built around topics, books of the Bible, and other special interests.
