Discipleship is the process of being transformed into Christ-likeness. Sunday school is a vital part of how we mature in our faith as believers. Below is a summary of our Sunday School opportunities. Sunday School begins at 9am. |
Nursery and Pre-School Department: We provide a nursery for infants and toddlers up to age two and a Pre-school class for children ages 2-4. |
Adult Department: Young Adults Class: is a discussion based Sunday School class designed to engage and meet the needs of 20-30 year old people. It is led by Kris Anne and is located in the first room on the left in our Sunday School space. Young and the Rest of Us: Is a class of middle adults led by Bob and Larry. Class uses discussion and interactive bible study from Life Bible Study. Bill and Gene lead a class of older adults in the fellowship hall. They study one book of the bible at a time through discussion. This is one of our longest running classes at FBC. Thalacker class meets in the Conference Room. This is a class that rotates curriculum based on topics. They use media and conversation to discuss Christ-likeness on a variety of topics. Jim leads our oldest members in the Agape room. They use material from David C. Cook and are the class that is a model of true discipleship and prayer for us. There are also occasional seasonal SMALL GROUPS built around topics, books of the Bible, and other special interests. |
