TRUE FUNK PERSPECTIVES...
1. ITS A LOVE THING!
GOD IS LOVE
God heals, God saves, and God provides. This awesome God, who heals,
saves and provides, gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ, that we may
have everlasting life in heaven (John 3:16). Think about it,
extreme joy for all eternity! This gigantic God, who made the heavens
and the earth, is love (I John 4:16). The greatest thing that you
and I can do on this earth is to be a vessel that will walk in that
love. Let that be our deepest desire. There is no greater blessing.
There is no greater honor than to be known by God and man, as a person
that walks in Gods love. For the greatest anointing of all is the love
anointing, because it most reflects whom God is.
Brothers and sisters, without delay we must understand, that because
God is love, Satan, the fallen one, created and gifted by God, but now
the enemy to God and man, has launched an all out assault against us,
the biggest and longest war going (Ezekiel 28:12-15). THE FALLEN ONE
WANTS US TO MAJOR ON ANYTHING, BUT WALKING IN THE LOVE OF GOD! His
tactics are to bring division at all costs. This relentless attack on
the world is to make us disbelieve in the God of love, suggesting that
if God were love, there would not be so much pain in the world. Satan
wants us to blame God, which lets him off the hook and run completely
free, but he is the one to blame. Had Satan not become envious and
prideful, which got him kicked out of heaven, there would not have been
a serpent in the garden to do the trick on Adam and Eve in the first
place. REMEMBER, ENVY AND PRIDE ARE THE ENEMIES OF LOVE! This
dishonoring of his creator is what got him in trouble. Then, he in turn
got us to dishonor our creator and it got us in trouble (Genesis
3:1-4). Check this out. God made the universe. He made Adam and Eve, and the
garden they lived in (Genesis1-2). He made the rules that govern His
creation. The planets in space stay locked in orbit, because the King
of kings and Lord of lords told them to. That said the Lord had the
right, to tell Adam and Eve not to eat of one tree in the garden. Now
mind you, the whole planet was theirs, just do not eat of the one tree.
So, Satan got them focused on, you guessed it, the one tree, and made
them think God was withholding something from them that was a must
need. For the first time, there was doubt and mistrust toward God. They
blew it and brought death into the world. However, Gods love was so
great, they were able to live out their lives, not destroyed by this
humungous mistake, but God did not stop there.
The Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that we could
get back in right standing with Him. Wow! That is how much He loves us!
He gave His only Son to save mine. He did this knowing that many would
not receive Jesus and would mock Him to this day (John 1:9-14). The
woes of the world are not Gods fault. We were duped by Satan, who was
functioning in the misery loves company destructive. The Father sent
Jesus to die for everyone except for Satan and the third of the angels
that tried to take on God (Revelation 12:9) Fools. Satan is a liar,
deceiver and full of hate for God and man (John 8:44). Hes on his
way to hell. To get back at God, his only goal is to take as many
people to hell with him as possible. However, Jesus death, burial, and
resurrection took care of all that.
Here is something amazing about the depth of Gods love toward us, He
gave us free will, the opportunity to choose for ourselves. Gods
deepest desire is for us to choose Him out of love. He could have made
us robots, but he did not. God wants us to know him, our creator,
savior, provider, and our healer. He just wants our love. Heaven
awaits, brothers and sisters, one day we will enjoy jumping off the
high dive into the pool of Gods splendor, hanging out with THE FATHER,
THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST, the angels and all the saints. There will
be no crying, no prejudice, and no shame, just Gods presence and His
overwhelming love!!

2. Seeing Jesus as The Ultimate Warrior!
How
do you see Jesus? Do you still see Him mainly as the Lamb slain on the
cross, or as the Jesus that walked this earth? Or do you mainly see Him
as He is described in Revelations, as the Lamb that is now the ultimate
warrior? Revelations says His eyes blaze like fire (19:12), and out of
His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations
(19:15). It says He is clothed in a white linen robe dipped in blood
(19:13,14), and the armies of Heaven follow Him (19:14). Now thats the
Ultimate Warrior. The sword out of His mouth will strike down the
nations.
When we walk to the platform to minister as church musicians, how we
see Jesus is very important. We must see Him in His fullness as the
Ultimate Warrior. It is not enough to see Him as the Lamb slain for the
sins of the world. We must see Him also, as the Ultimate Warrior, with
vestments dipped in blood. As we minister, we must see ourselves in
that army, the Army of the Ultimate Warrior. As we fight against the
enemy we are following the Captain of the Hosts, the Ultimate Warrior.
Praise and worship brings the people into greater oneness with Christ.
Satan will always fight against any move toward Christ. -Rev.

3. THE LIBERATION OF THE CHURCH MUSICIAN
The Liberation of the
Church Musician is a message to the whole body of Christ, to the
musicians in the world, and to the people of the world to understand
the magnitude of the office of the church musician and the call on the
church musicians life. We must be prepared in these last days, as God
brings those in the entertainment industry out of the world into His
mighty church. This is important because, so many of these entertainers
for various reasons, left the church not understanding the
ramifications of walking away from The God Call.
Ezekiel 28 gives us a description of Satans fall from the Great Worshipper of God to the Great
Entertainer of this world. And what a fall it
was. God had given Lucifer, Holy Attention, for he once walked as "the
anointed cherub that covereth" (v.14); surrounding the throne of God
with praise and worship. He was created with musical instruments within
his body. But because of his striking beauty, envy rose up in him and
he waged war against the God that created him. Leaving Satan forever
reduced to the fallen state of false notoriety in this world, the
Limelight, never to walk in Holy Attention again.
God Striped away Satans office as
the great musician of heaven, leaving him only the gifting. Without the
office the gifting means nothing. That thunderous mighty office has
been given to the Church Musician (I Chronicles 16:4-7). In the legacy
of the greatest musician of all time, King David, God gives the church
musician creativity, innovation and unmatched communicative power in
music, to worship Him and to win souls to Him. Satan hates the church
musician for we now have his office; that is why he has worked so had
to make church musician feel unimportant and insignificant, and
inferior to the musicians of the world.
The time has come for the Church
Musician to stand and take his rightful place as the spokesman and the
only one who knows the why and what for of the music and the arts. The
musicians of the world are waiting for those at the top of the grove
chain, the church musician to point the way to freedom. And true
freedom is to use your God given gift, coupled with the understanding
of the office, for His Glory! The most powerful office any musician can
hold, the office of the Church Musician!

5. OUR PASSION CAME FROM GOD AND BELONGS TO GOD!
Saints
of the Living God, hear this. Satan wants your emotions. He wants your
passion. For those who have and ear let them hear. Satan wants your
passion. Think about the things that go wrong in life from the
smallest, like a bad hair day or a blemish, or I lost my keys again
today; to the bigger issues, like being misunderstood, the attack of
manipulation, or rejection. We can get so hooked into what is going
wrong in our lives and be so emotionally and passionately affected by
it, that there is every little left for God and His goodness in our
lives. So, we walk around being emotionally depleted and not really
know it. Left unchecked it carries over into our home life, so we
have very little God lead passion and emotional energy to give to
our loved ones. And in worship, we have less and less to give to the
God we love. Satan is a liar and a deceiver. He hates the God lead
passion. He wants our thought life to be more consumed with what he is
doing against us, than what God is doing for us. He wants more hours in
a day spent on him.
Are we more concerned moment by
moment by the splendor of God or the stench of the devil. Colossians
3:2-3 says set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth,
for you died, and your life is hidden in Christ, in God. There is
power in having your mind set on things above. In Colossians 2:3 it
says In Christ, are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
The Bible also says in Isaiah 61 that the garment of praise is the
antidote for the spirit of heaviness. Satan, knowing all of this,
counters by getting us to deplete our energy, emotion and passion on
him and attacking our faith and our trust in the King of Kings and Lord
of Lords. And therefore, slow leaks power from us that is to be used
against him to make us weaker against his attacks. The Bible clearly
tells us not to be ignorant of the devil's devices, and to submit
yourself to the Lord and resist the devil, and he will flee.
Light dispels darkness. The more that we let the light of God in, the
more the darkness of this world has to make the big, your not welcome
here, so get out, exit. Praise God somebody! Our passion, our emotion,
and our energy belong to God. So, if we flow in holy anger, we will
make the devil pay for what he is doing to us and our loved ones.
Giving ourselves to God in our praise, our worship, our prayer, our
fasting and our reading of the Word, thats how we put Satan in his
place under our feet. Thank you Jesus!
Saints of the living God dont let
Satan have your passion, because its precious and very vital in the
fight against that old once was, has been, liar. And heres something
to throw at him, sing Amazing Grace, then tell him he cant sing it
because Jesus didnt die for him. Thank you
Jesus!!
