We Welcome You To Join Us In This Worthy Endeavor.

"The Lord has sent me to bring good news to the afflicted. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to comfort all who mourn." -- Isaiah 61:1

Thousands of Christians have joined together to help each other with financial assistance at the time of a participants death. The concept of this ministry is based on the Biblical principle of Christians coming to each others aid during times of crisis. Our goal is to help meet the emotional, spiritual, and financial needs of the family at the time when it is needed most. This ministry has over 18 years experience in meeting needs in the event of death.

How It Works
Four times per year, participants in the CFDA ministry receive a newsletter, informing you of the deaths that have occurred, along with a monetary unit amount for helping with those needs. The gift amount, at this time, is approximately $20 - $23 per month, per unit. You send a check once every 3 months when you receive your newsletter. You will also be asked to pray for the loved ones of the deceased. You may choose to send a card or letter of condolence or encouragement to them as well.

How Much Do I Give?
Each participating unit will be asked to give money to help with the death needs of other Christian participants. The gift amount is approximately $20 - $23 per month, per unit. One unit = one qualifying person; two units are any two qualifying immediate family members; three units are three or more qualifying family members.

How Much Assistance Will This Provide? While CFDA is strictly a voluntary ministry, it is expected you will be able to receive the amounts listed under Policies and Guidelines, #9. For most of our participants, the published amount of assistance at death will be $10,000. Please see Policies and Guidelines for complete details and review the Checklist of Understanding.
