Brooksides Childrens Ministry consists
of six main elements; Preschool, Kidstuf, Promise-land, Sunday School, Kids
Club, and Pioneer Club.
Preschool is a class for 3 & 4 year
olds located in the preschool hall of the KidVenture building.Sunday morning is divided into 3 classes:
9:00 AM Morning Glories: Andrea Bailles, Julie Long,
& Sarah Cox
10:15 AM
Sunday School: Sandy
Whited & Shirley Brown
11:00 AM Veggie
Tales: Joyce Waugh & Julie Breeden
Promiseland is the Sunday morning program
for children Kindergarten through sixth grades.This is age appropriate worship time for elementary aged
kids.The same
worship activities occur at the 9 & 11 am worship time under the direction
of Laura Uhrig in the Theater Room of the KidVentureBuilding.
Sunday
School for elementary begins @ 10:15 am and is held in the rooms listed
below.The classes are divided as
follows:
5s/Kindergarten: Natalie Matson & Lisa Wright
1st/2nd grades: Jami Easterday & Jenna Easterday
3rd/4th grades: Rachel & Paul Cox
5th/6th grades: Jim & Pam Anderson/Kim & Jay
Davis
Curriculum is purchased under the
direction of the CM Leadership Team for each quarter of the school year.
Kids Club meets every Sunday
evening under the direction of Sharon Steinbrook.
Preschoolers meet with Rachel & Ryan
Elliott in the preschool room for lessons and activities and the
K-3rd
graders meet in rooms that are determined by the attendance in the KidVenture
building with Sharon Steinbrook.
The
Deep End meets for the 4th-6th graders in room 102 &
103 under the leadership of Jennifer Walker.
KidStuf is held in
the Theater Room of the KidVenture building in the odd numbered months of the
school(Sept, Nov, Jan, March, May).Each
month is devoted to a virtue following curriculum from 252 Basics through the
internet.The goal is to reach families
and provide a Sunday School experience that parents and kids can talk about all
week and grow spiritually!
Pioneer Club meets
every Wednesday night during the school from 6:30-8 pm.The theme of Pioneer Club is to incorporate
Christ in every aspect of life.All
lessons, games, & activities are planned around this idea.The classes are as follows:

and are announced in the bulletin and on this website.
The summer schedule differs slightly each year depending on
the programming being offered.
