What do we believe?

1. The Bible

The BIBLE IS God's love letter written to us. The Bible tells us who we are, how we were made, how we were lost, and how we were purchased back When we spend time reading and thinking about the things which are written in the Bible, we change. The Bible is living. We believe that God gave us His inerrant, verbally inspired word, which is of absolute authority and that He recorded, preserved, translated, and transmitted it in written form, called the Bible and/ or Holy Scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21

2. The Godhead

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and these three are one. Jesus is God's only begotten Son. He was born of a virgin, completely sinless. He came to teach us, save us, and to die for us... the perfect sacrifice. Jesus is 100 % God come to earth as a man. Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM". He said to Thomas, "If you've seen me, you've seen the Father". God wanted to relate to us, and He wanted us to be able to relate to Him. If you've ever wondered what God is like, read about the love and forgiveness of Jesus! Jesus is also 100% human. When He walked on earth, He did amazing things as a human, and He continues to do amazing things in heaven's glory. It was Jesus who revealed to our grace Apostle Paul the liberating message of grace. This message was not taught until Jesus communicated it to Paul.

All over the world, the Spirit of God is active. Jesus didn't begin His public ministry until after the Spirit descended on Him. Likewise, We have been sealed with the Spirit in this Age of Grace! The Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and it is He who creates the powerful likeness of Jesus in us. Paul the apostle of this Age of Grace said the "Kingdom Of His Dear Son" should be advanced by the demonstration of God's loving power, rather than by clever speech.

1 John 5:7, 1 Timothy 2:5, Ephesians 4:4-6.

3. The Character of Man

God created the human race, but we fell away from Him when Adam sinned. When we believe and trust the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), we become completely new creations. We are no longer just God's handiwork, but we are His sons and daughters. When we step into God's family, we enjoy not just forgiveness, but all the benefits of all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places all because we are in Jesus... we are literally one with Him. We have the same position before God as Jesus does. We are hidden in Him. We have died with Him, and have been raised from the dead with Him. Jesus showed how to live, and who we are. We have been given the same authority Jesus had on earth, we are in His stead.

Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 3:10,23; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Salvation: How does one come to Christ in this life?

God justifies ungodly sinners by His Grace upon the ground of the shed blood of Jesus Christ through the means of faith. This complete salvation is bestowed as a free gift of God apart from man's efforts (works).

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. I Tim.4:10

4. The Church and its Commission

We believe that the church of this dispensation, the Body of Christ, is made up of all those who have responded to the Good News under God's mystery program as revealed to and through the Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Colossians 1:18), but does not include those who responded under God's prophetic program (those who responded to the prophetic Good News became members of the Prophetic church also called the Kingdom church). The mission of the church is set forth by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 and Ephesians 3:1-12. The destiny of the church is to appear at the judgment seat of Christ when we shall meet Him in the air (at the rapture), and then to rule and reign with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies (2 Corinthians 5:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Ephesians 1:17-23, 1 Corinthians 6:2-3). Everyone who enters God's family is a minister. One of the most important functions for Christian gatherings is to equip its members for ministry. Advancing God's message of Grace is the most exciting and fulfilling life there is. We are His hands and feet. If you think you are not worthy to minister, you're right! But through Jesus you are both worthy, and equipped to do so! To minister means, to proclaim the Good News! When we meet together as believers, we should encourage everyone-- young and old, men and women, rich and poor, and all nationalities -- to go out and be the ambassadors of reconciliation God intends us to be.

5. Body Life

We believe that all members of the Universal Church called the Body of Christ, are members one of another. All members are of equal importance and need one another for spiritual growth.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Ephesians 4:4-6,15-16.

6. Dispensational Bible teaching

We hold to a dispensational understanding of the Bible and especially emphasize the uniqueness of the present Dispensation of Grace as revealed through the Apostle Paul.

Ephesians 3:1-9, Romans 16:25-26, Galatians 1:10-12

7. Grace

We believe that God loves all people more than we can comprehend. When He sent His Son, He demonstrated that love. Many people have received a false impression of God through man-made religion. Many believe they are not worthy of a relationship with Him, and are in despair. Nobody is worthy of a relationship with God...in fact, we are all worthy of death! But Jesus has reconciled us through His death on the Cross. That death ended any sin issues that would separate us from God-- Jesus literally took all our sin with Him to the grave.  The Law was nailed to the Cross and we are freed from its ability to condemn us. This is the Good News of Grace! 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 5:7-11; Colossians 2:13-14,16,20; Ephesians 2:15; Romans 6:1-3,7-8,11,18; Romans 8:1

8. Ultimate Salvation

We believe in the simple Bible truth that Jesus Christ is the "Lamb who takes away the sin of the world."  He is the Savior of the world, He is the "Second Adam," through Whom all mankind will be restored to God's original image, as the Apostle Paul states in I Cor.15:22-28.  He is the only way to the Father, the only begotton Son of God, and that there is no other way to aionian life but through Him. We believe He is king and judge of the universe, and owner of all Creation, and that His purpose for the ages (aions) is to bring all things under His government and reconciled with Himself (Ephesians 1:9-10).

We believe that in His death and resurrection He became the "Lamb who takes away the sin of the world." As Christ Himself said, "If I be lifted up (crucified) I will draw all men to me" (as also prophesied in Psalm 22). His Name is the One before which every man, woman and child, from all of human history will bow before and declare that He is Lord. At that day, the prophesied "restoration of all things" shall come to pass. I Tim.2:4-6; Eph.1:11; Rom.5:15-21; I Cor.15:22,28; Phil.2:9-11; Acts 3:20-21; II Cor.5:15.
