"Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Art not thou he, 0 LORD our God? Therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these thingsā€ -Jeremiah 14:22

I write this report with great joy and rejoicing. The Lord is blessing us in the work here in many ways. The Lord recently added two more members here in Charleston. We also have had two babies born to families here this year. The members here are very faithful and are a joy and delight to work with. The men are taking part in the services in various roles and are blessing us greatly. We are encouraged in the work and eagerly anticipate the Lord's hand in the future. We are also having visitors who seem genuinely interested and are asking great questions. Pray for us as we minister to them.

We continue to see significant growth in our internet outreach. The internet reaches worldwide, but we have also been targeting our area local to Charleston. This has resulted in communication with some and confirmation that local people are reading and listening to our online resources. We are encouraged by this and want to continue to expand our reach and build our resources.

I haven't previously mentioned much about our building. Through the Lord's providence, the church at Indore was able to purchase the building outright so that there is no debt on it at all. This is a great blessing to a small work. The other side of that is that the building is old and needs some work. The basement has flooded before and needs to be gutted and remodeled. The upstairs needs mostly updating and cosmetic type work. We have begun this work and plan to work on it as we are able until it is finished. Hopefully, I will be able to post some pictures from time to time of the progress.

I and my son Levi, along with Bro. Matt Ellison, are making plans to visit southern Mexico in November to attend the organization/ordination services there. We are very thankful for the Lord's work there and the way He has used the Crafts in that work. This is a very exciting time and we are thankful for the privilege to witness such a historic event. I understand that others pastors and church members from the states are planning to attend and we are expecting abundant blessing from the Lord.

I sincerely thank those who pray for us and remain interested in the work here. You are an encouragement and blessing to us. Please pray for us as we pray for you that we will be faithful and exalting the glory of God until Jesus returns.

We are sending regular prayer letters via email. If you would like to be added to our list, send me an email at shortthoughts@gmail.com and I will add you. The financial reports will continue to be printed and mailed.
