Rev. Rickie Simon Jr.

Rickie Simon Jr. is an native of Jacksonville, Florida.  He was educated in the public school system and is a graduate of William Marion Raines High School.  He attended Edward Waters College and obtained a Bachelors of Psychology. A Masters Degree in Psychology was conferred upon him from the University of Phoenix.

 In  2006 Rev. Simon received his license to preach. He was ordained in 2009 by the East Florida & Bethany Baptist Association of the Progressive M & E Baptist Convention of Florida by President Emeritus Rev. Dr. H. T. Rhim and Moderator Dr. Kelly Brown. He is a member of Saint Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, where he serves as the youth pastor. He is passionate about young people and can always be found somewhere working in that capacity.

Throughout the years he has received numerous awards and commendations for his outstanding work, commitment to excellence and community service. Currently he is employed by the Duval County Public Schools serving as a math teacher.  He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, the devoted husband of Mrs. Jessica D. Simon and the proud father of Jyon and Taiya Simon.
