Betty is a native of Maryland!  After graduation from Greensboro High School, Greensboro, MD, she attended Allentown Bible Institute, Allentown, PA.   It is here she met her husband, Stanley Taber from NJ.  They married and then graduated from ABI.  Following graduation Betty and Stanley served in the pastoral ministry of The Wesleyan Methodist Church/The Wesleyan Church in KY, DE, and NY for 50 years.

During these years as the Lord opened doors, Betty served in the District as Wesleyan Youth Treasurer, Wesleyan Women's Secretary, Director and Outreach Director as well as being on several committees.  She also served eight years on the General Wesleyan Womens Executive Committee, representing the Northeastern Area of the The Wesleyan Church.

Following their retirement in 2002, Betty and Stanley moved to Wesleyan Village in 2003, making it their permanent home.

Since 2004 Betty has served on the Missions Committee of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church and has been employed by WBCA office since 2007.

Betty and Stanley have three children, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
