We Believe
PowerLine embraces the vintage doctrines of historic Christianity. Those familiar with religious language will find nothing much new here. The doctrines upon which the church rests as essential to authentic Christian experience are brief:
We believe in one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Trinity.
We especially emphasize the deity of Jesus Christ, and the personality of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that all humans are born in sin; that they need the gracious forgiveness of God through Christ, called the new birth.
We believe that after the new birth there is a deeper work of heart cleansing known as "entire sanctification."
We believe that Jesus Christ will return some day, and that all will come to final judgment with its rewards and punishments.
