ONE: Celebration Join us on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. for our "Mellow" Worship Celebration, 10:00 a.m. for our PowerKidz Family Worship Celebration, or at 11:00 a.m. for our "Bold" Worship Celebration as we come together to praise our God. At PowerLine we mean it when we say "come as you are." You'll find folks dressed up (coat and tie) and dressed down (shorts and t-shirt); littlebabies and great-grandparents and all in between. We strive to provide a welcoming, safe, and informal atmosphere for you to explore what faith in God means. Feel free to continue coming on Sunday mornings until you are ready for ...
TWO: Newcomer's Cafe We offer a two-week rotating class that meets in the office suite of the church at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Yes, there's coffee, but there's also time to meet with some of our finest PowerLiners and learn more about our church: her vision, her history, her people, and her beliefs. After those two weeks, you are are ready for ...
THREE: Growth Groups Get Conncted with a Growth Group. All week long small groups meet around town and at the church. These small gatherings are designed to give you a chance to grow in faith by meeting and sharing with other folks with similar interests. When you are ready, the PowerLine staff will help you find a growth group that's right for you.
FOUR: Fellowship After settling into the rhythms of life at PowerLine, we expect that you'll be excited about what's going on here. But, it doesn't end there. At PowerLine, we want to help you discover, strengthen, and put into action the God-given talents that each of us have. We find ways to incorporate you into positions of leadership and service. This isn't the same thing as "joing the church" or "becoming a member" (that's coming up next). Rather, its our way of continuing to embrace you as one of our own, and to say "We accept you!"
FIVE: Membership Joining a church is a big step. It moves you from saying "I'm accepted at this church" to "I embrace this church." From time to time, membership classes are offered to those interested in taking this step. A minimum of three hours is required as Pastor Tim presents more fully the vision, mission and purpose of PowerLine, the history and doctrines of the Church of the Nazarene, and the meaning of membership. Those who find themselves in harmony with what God is doing at PowerLine will then be presented to the congregation as new members.
